I specialize in evidence-based treatments to address OCD and anxiety-related disorders. Central to my therapeutic practice is a strong commitment to the therapeutic relationship, fostering trust, respect, and empathy with every client.
With over nine years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health, schools, mobile treatment, inpatient hospitals, psychiatric rehabilitation programs (PRP), and private practice. My journey began in community mental health, where I gained invaluable experience working with individuals facing diverse challenges in a variety of settings. Seeking to refine my expertise, I became a Clinical Associate at the Maryland Anxiety Center, where I received extensive training in treating OCD and anxiety disorders using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP)—the gold standard of care for these conditions. Most recently, I attended the Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF), focusing on ERP for pediatric OCD.
In addition to my clinical work, I was the director of the undergraduate internship program at a previous practice and have supervised both graduate-level interns and licensed graduate professional counselors. Mentoring and supervising have been deeply rewarding experiences that complement my therapeutic work.
Currently, I work with a diverse caseload, supporting clients of all ages—children, adolescents, and adults—across a range of diagnoses. I am especially interested in OCD, emetophobia, Illness Anxiety, and Tics/Tourette's. My goal is to help each individual build resilience and achieve meaningful progress in their mental health journey.
